A growing events and industry conference company with approximately 30 employees needed ongoing HR support after its previous fractional HR provider became unavailable. With a dynamic team and managers requiring day-to-day people support, the owners wanted to ensure HR needs were being addressed while allowing them to stay focused on business growth.
The company engaged TROIS Collective to provide on-site fractional HR support for four hours per week. The goal was to create continuity across HR operations, provide accessible support to employees and managers, and help the owners manage people-related matters more effectively as the business continued to grow.
From day one, TROIS Collective focused on building relationships with the owners, managers, and employees to better understand the company’s HR needs and priorities. This helped identify immediate areas of support and create a practical HR roadmap aligned with the company’s culture and stage of growth.
Within four months, it became clear that four hours per week was no longer sufficient to meet the company’s growing HR needs. TROIS Collective’s role expanded to include day-to-day HR support, recruitment, onboarding, HR programs, and policy development.
As the company continued to grow, the owners recognized the need for more dedicated internal HR capacity. TROIS Collective supported the organization through this evolution, helping stabilize day-to-day HR operations, strengthen people programs, and create the foundation for a more permanent HR function. TROIS Collective continued to partner with the organization during the transition, ensuring continuity and supporting the next stage of HR maturity.
